Frequently asked questions
Practical information for material selection, custom stone projects and overseas orders.
Where is your company based?
Xiamen Leide Stone Co., Ltd. (厦门磊德石业有限公司) is based in Xiamen, Fujian, China. We welcome overseas trade and stone project enquiries.
What stone products can I enquire about?
Our catalogue includes marble, granite, quartzite, travertine, limestone and onyx slabs, along with stone tiles, countertops, furniture, sinks, bathtubs, mosaics and decorative pieces. Availability is confirmed for each enquiry.
Can you supply custom sizes and finishes?
Send your drawings, dimensions, thickness, edge details, cut-outs and preferred finish. We will discuss feasibility and confirm the agreed specifications before an order proceeds.
What should I send to get a quotation?
Please provide the product name or LD model, material, intended use, dimensions, thickness, finish, quantity, destination country or port and schedule. Drawings and reference photos are helpful.
Why are prices not displayed?
Stone pricing depends on material selection, specifications, quantity, fabrication, packing and delivery terms. Request a quotation for your project. A website enquiry does not place an order.
Is there a minimum order quantity?
Minimum quantities depend on the material and product, custom work and packing requirements. Please send your requested quantity so we can confirm the options.
Can I request a sample?
Ask about the availability of a material or finish sample. Sample charges, courier costs and timing will be confirmed before dispatch.
Will the stone look exactly like the website photos?
Natural stone can vary in colour, veining and texture. Website photos are a reference. Where appearance is important, discuss current material photos, samples or slab approval before ordering.
How long will production and delivery take?
Timing depends on material availability, specification approval, production scope and the transport route. We will discuss the estimated schedule in your quotation or order; no fixed lead time applies to every product.
Do you handle overseas enquiries?
Yes. Please provide your destination country and port or delivery location. Shipping options, packing and responsibilities for freight, insurance, customs and taxes must be confirmed in writing.
How are stone products packed?
Packing depends on the product and route. Please advise any crate, container, handling or destination requirements. The packing method will be confirmed with your order.
How do I place an order and pay?
Contact us for a quotation and review the written specifications and commercial terms. Currency, payment method, payment schedule and order acceptance are agreed separately; the website is an enquiry catalogue.
What if I need to change or cancel an order?
Contact us as soon as possible. Changes depend on the approval and production stage, any costs already incurred and the agreed order terms. Please read our return and refund policy.
What if goods arrive damaged or do not match the order?
Keep the packaging and shipping documents, record photos of the goods, labels and packaging, and contact us promptly with your order details. We will review the issue against the approved specifications and agreed order terms.
Can you advise on installation and suitability?
Tell us the intended application and environment when enquiring. Suitability, supporting structures, installation and maintenance should be assessed with the relevant project professionals before purchase.
Can I visit your company?
Please arrange an appointment by email or WhatsApp first. We will confirm the visiting address and meeting details.

Stone selection and project quotations
Which stone should I consider for my project?
Start with the intended use, appearance, maintenance preferences and exposure. Marble offers distinctive veining but can etch from household acids. Granite and correctly identified natural quartzite are often considered where scratch and everyday acid resistance matter. Performance varies by stone and batch; request a sample and technical review for the intended application.
Is quartzite the same as engineered quartz?
No. Natural quartzite is quarried rock; engineered quartz is a manufactured material that commonly contains quartz particles and resin. Names can be confusing, so confirm the material identity and specification before selecting it. Tell us the intended use so the team can review a suitable option.
What should I check with travertine and limestone?
Review colour and batch variation, cut direction, thickness and finish. For travertine, confirm whether cavities are filled or unfilled and whether the cut is vein-cut or cross-cut. Limestone and travertine can etch from acids. Confirm suitability, filling and maintenance for your particular location rather than relying on a website photo.
Which finish is suitable for floors or outdoor areas?
Share whether the surface is indoor or outdoor, dry or wet, and exposed to freezing conditions. Review finish samples and the required slip performance with your project professional. A finish name alone does not certify slip resistance, frost resistance or exterior suitability; testing and the material specification must be checked.
How should I care for natural stone?
Use a stone-compatible cleaner, wipe up spills promptly and follow the approved material and sealer guidance. Avoid acidic cleaners on marble, limestone and travertine. Sealing can help reduce absorption but does not make calcite-based stone acid-proof. Confirm sealing needs for the actual stone and application.
Does the online catalogue confirm prices or available stock?
Our website is an enquiry catalogue. Only the agreed written project quotation and order terms confirm pricing, selected material or batch, available quantities and delivery arrangements. Please request current material information before making a purchasing decision.
How can I start a quotation if I have not chosen a stone?
Send your intended use, a reference photo or drawing, approximate dimensions, quantity and destination country or port. You can begin with incomplete specifications; our team will discuss the details that still need confirmation. Use Get a quote / Contact Us, email business@ledestone.com, or WhatsApp +86 15980984867. A chat does not place an order or confirm a final price.
